Hello dear readers today i wishto tutor you guys on how to tweak or change the imei of spreadtrum devices.
There are various methods of doing this but i will post but a few
here we go:
Method 1: Engineer Mode (No Root Required)
* Dial *#*#83781#*#*
* In Engineer Mode (Under Telephony), select Set IMEI

* Input the IMEI the click Set IMEI
* Select OK when prompted to reboot

Method 2 : Shortcut Master (Root Required)
Requirement
* Rooted phone
* Install Shortcut Master (lite) here or here
Procedure
* Launch Shortcut Master (lite)

* Press the Menu button and select Secret Code Explorer

* Wait for loading to begin and complete

* You should see a list of apps

* Select Launch 1

* Click on the Telephony tab

* Scroll down to Set IMEI and select it
* Insert the IMEI then click Set IMEI

* You'll get a prompt saying "In order to guarantee the system to set the correct IMEI, recommended to restart the system" , select Ok
* The phone will automatically restart

Method 3: IMEI Write Tool
Requirement
* PC
* Download Spreadtrum IMEI Write Tool here
* Install Spreadtrum drivers [to do so visit this link here for a tutorial
* Spreadtrum phone
Procedure
* Enable USB Debugging on the phone then connect it to PC (Settings > Developer)
* Launch the Spreadtrum IMEI Write Tool

* Click Mode Sel

* Tick Normal Mode then click Select

* Enter the IMEI

* Wait for a few seconds and you should get a 'Passed' Message
* Reboot the phone and the new IMEI should reflect
