But then there are some basic things to consider before purchasing a power bank.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN PURCHASING A POWER BANK.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">HOW MUCH POWER DO YOU NEED?

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Power bank capacity: This is one of the first things to consider when purchasing a portable battery charger [power bank]. The capacity of a power bank is how much electrical energy it can retain. This is ussually measured in mAH. You might have come across figures 10400 mAh, 5200mAh, 2600mAh etc. They happen to be multiple of 2600 mAh because the base of a Li-ion battery cell is 2600 mAh. before i wrap this part up let me clear the air on the common misconception that bigger capacity power banks are better, because those that say this forget that with a bigger capacity, the physical size of the power bank increases and so does the price reducing the "portability".<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">     DO YOU WANT A LI-ION OR LI-PO POWER BANK?

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"> Many of us may not be familiar with these terms but note that LI-ION and LI-PO are two variations of the battery cells used to produce power banks.Most of the battery packs go for the Li-ion as they are cheaper but portable chargers being constituted with Li-ion tends to become much bulkier in comparison to the Li-Poly.But the LI-poly battery cells tend to give manufacturers more provision to manipulate the shape and size of power banks more than when LI-ION cells are used.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">INPUT AND OUT PUT CURRENT RATING

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This typically describes how fast your power banks charges and discharges. Most power banks typically come with a '5V at 2.1 A and 5V at 1 A'. However for a 2.1 A rated power bank to get charged fast, you should also use a 2.1A rated wall charger as using a lower rated charger.

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 26px;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">NUMBER OF USB PORTS

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">if you are going to have a need to charge multiple devices simultaneously then this factor will play a big role inyour choice of power bank.Usually most of the portable chargers below 10000 mAh capacity (smaller capacity) does not come up with multiple output port option. The reason is obvious; they are simply not large enough to charge up more than one device at a time.

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 26px;">

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 26px;">PASS THROUGH CHARGING

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
<span style="font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 26px;">

<span style="font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 26px;">This is the ability of a power bank to be charging and at the same time charging another device.This feauture seems rudimentary but some manufacturers still miss to add this feauture.
<span style="font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 26px;">
<span style="font-family: "merriweather" , "georgia" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 26px;">I strongly believe that if you take all this into consideration before purchasing a power bank you will surely get one that suits you.

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">
